DAY ONE - EDITH FALLS, MATARANKA THERMAL SPRINGS AND DALY WATERS (Dinner Included)
Your first day with Uluru Tours From Darwin starts with a sunrise pick up from Darwin before being whisked away to the Mataranka Hot Spring. Along the way you can stop at the thundering splendour of Edith Falls, a collection of cascading waters and bubbling rock pools that provide the perfect environment for a refreshing dip. Surrounded by velvet greens and an abundance of wild flora, the natural paradise of Edith Falls is a divine way to start the day.
Next it’s time to soothe your soul and let the aches and pains of traveling simply melt away at the Mataranka Hot Springs. The thermal pools are spring fed and constantly steaming at a delicious 34 degrees Celsius. Submerged in the natural pool you can gaze in wonder at the dappled light streaming through the forest and even catch glimpse of the red flying fox darting from branch to branch. Finish the day in the serene bliss of Daly Waters where you can indulge in an Aussie Pub dinner (included) and sleep soundly in a comfortable shared dorm (included).
DAY TWO - DEVILS MARBLE AND ALICE SPRINGS (No Meals)
The second day of your Ayers Rock Tours adventure you will leave Daly Waters and keep trekking towards Alice Springs. On the way you will stop at The Devils Marbles for a fabulous photo opportunity in the shallow valley. The Devils Marbles are huge mysterious granite boulders, precariously balanced and scattered across the golden landscape. Arriving in Alice Springs around 6pm you can enjoy a relaxing evening soaking up the pace of one of our preferred hostels (included).
DAY THREE - ULURU (Lunch and Dinner Included)
Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation around 6am and we begin our outback journey to Uluru. After lunch we enjoy a visit to the Aboriginal Cultural Centre which helps you to learn all about the Anangu People and to even pick up local art and crafts to take home. We will enjoy a short guided interpretive walk at the base of Uluru before heading off to watch sunset. Watching the sunset burst into colour over the famous Ayers Rock is a breath-taking moment as you witness the burnt orange, lavender streaks and blood reds filter into the landscape. To add to your experience, we will provide a glass of bubbly and some nibbles. Then it's back to our camp to enjoy a hearty meal, a hot shower and a night under the stars.
