G’day Mate Tourist Park

G’day Mate Tourist Park is a 10 minute drive to Alice Springs and is a great accommodation to stay for a few days. The park has a BBQ area, a laundry, and a swimming pool. Onsite there is also a camp kitchen, communal fridges, car parks, and many other facilities. There are some shady benches at the park to enjoy the view of the MacDonnell Ranges.

Cabin and site options

There are comfortable cabins, or there are ensuite sites, powered and unpowered sites available.

Cabins

The cabins are air conditioned and fit up to five people on the double bed and the triple bunks. There is a kitchenette with a microwave, toaster, kettle, and fridge. You also have a table, chairs, and a TV. Next to your cabin is your private ensuite.

What’s Nearby?

Since Alice Springs is nearby, you can check out the Reptile Centre or walk around town for a bite to eat or go shopping.

It’s worth making a trip to do some hiking and swimming in the swimming holes at MacDonnell Ranges. Or go further out for a day trip to Uluru! See the magnificent Uluru red rock in person as well as Kata Tjuta and check out Mount Conner on the way.
