3 Day Uluru & Kings Canyon Tour from Uluru Itinerary
Day One (lunch – summer months only – & dinner)
You will be able to sleep in and take your time before we pick you up in the early afternoon for an epic three-day journey. We will make our way into the heart of the Red Centre, spending our first day exploring Kata Tjuta. The famous landmark is made up of 36 various-sized boulders that decorate the desert landscape. We will hike through the Valley of the Winds, weaving amongst the fascinating boulders. As the evening begins to unfold, we will enjoy a snack and watch our first desert sunset. There’s nothing quite like watching as the sun drifts towards the horizon, painting the landscape below. After the sun sets, we will go to our campsite and have a delicious dinner as a group. Then it’s time to relax as we spend our first night under the stars.
Day Two (breakfast, lunch & dinner)
Today we will wake up bright and early to watch the sun rise above Uluru. The surrounding landscape will slowly come to life as the new day brings rich, earthy colour to the desert once again. We will have a hearty breakfast and then head to Uluru, where we will embark on a base walk. After our hike, we will regroup for lunch before going to the Cultural Centre. Here you can view the amazing hand-crafted art, created by the local First Nation Peoples of the Western Deserts. Not only will you be able to see some art, but you can also purchase a souvenir to bring home.
After exploring Uluru, we will make our way to our campsite near Kings Canyon. Take in the tranquil surroundings of this exclusive campsite before tucking in for another night under the stars.
Day Three (breakfast & lunch)
The final day of our tour begins with a hike in Watarrka National Park. This is where we will embark on the Kings Canyon Rim Walk, taking in the sights of the Lost City, the Garden of Eden, and other incredible landscapes. We will have our final lunch together as a group before our unforgettable three days come to an end in Alice Springs.
