Watching the Uluru sunset is a truly magnificent part of your Uluru experience.

Watch as the sun’s rays tinge the ochre rock with a vibrant golden orange – illuminating it during its final moments of daylight.

As the sun slowly disappears, the red rock gets darker and browner. The skies are painted with an ombre of pinky blue. As night falls, you’ll see the dark, pronounced silhouette of Uluru against the night sky. On clear nights, the moon rises and creeps over Uluru, creating a magical backdrop to your time in Uluru.

Bring your camera for a view of the stars. There’s not much light pollution around Uluru, so the starlit sky offers some incomparable views. You’ll get to see the Milky Way, and all your favourite starry constellations.
